Under Construction: Habitat for Humanity 2022 Women Build House

Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area began construction on its 2022 Women Build House on July 16. This year’s house is being built in memory of our dear friend and Fondren Pres member Elise Winter.

We invite members of the congregation and our friends to become involved involved in the project, whether it be in-person or through donations. The church has provided a sponsorship for the project through our benevolence funds. We would also like to take lunch for the workers a couple of times (dates TBD), as well as arrange for some of us to do some work at the site, particularly once painting begins!

This project is a special opportunity for our congregation to honor our beloved friend. If you would like to participate, contact Jan Taylor at mjftaylor7@gmail.com.

How can you help?
