Community Garden Phase 1

In the spring of 2018 the first boxes of our community garden were installed on the lot behind the church. Due to the heavy rains and then hot summer, our first garden crop had to wait a year. Thanks to the hard work of a group of students from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, we are ready to launch our first spring planting!

There is still some preliminary work to be done. If you would like to pitch in, there will be workdays announced for the major projects and also opportunities to help out with watering, weeding, and eventually HARVESTING!
